HVAC System Installation: How it works with Daflure Heating Cooling, and Solar in Central PA

What Happens First

Most HVAC system replacement projects begin with a simple phone call.

Maybe your furnace is getting old or your air conditioner has become unreliable. Whatever the issue is, when you call us, our team will gather some basic information from you. This will include your name, your address, and details about your current heating and cooling system. We’ll also ask whether you have any indoor air quality concerns, such as allergies, humidity issues, or rooms that never seem comfortable.

From there, we’ll schedule an appointment at a time that works best for you so that one of our Comfort Specialists can come out and meet with you in person.

The In-Person Replacement Consultation

If you know you’re looking for replacement options, your new system installation consultation is completely free.

(It’s important to note that replacement consultations are different from diagnostic service calls. If you’re hoping to repair or troubleshoot your existing system, that appointment follows a different process and does have a diagnostic service call fee. Please reach out to our office for that information.)

On the day of your appointment, our Comfort Specialist will dive deep into your existing system and talk through what you need.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Some of our customers prioritize efficiency, while others are focused on upfront cost, long-term savings, or indoor air quality improvements.

Most proposals include two to four options that are all at different price points.

This gives you the flexibility to choose what feels right for your space and budget. Every HVAC system we recommend we stand behind. We’ll explain the differences between each system, answer your questions, and help you understand the pros and cons of every single option.

If indoor air quality products, climate control zones, or humidity control could improve your comfort, we’ll discuss those possibilities as well. We believe in educating homeowners, not selling them equipment they don’t need. We do not pressure anyone into anything. (You will absolutely see this first-hand during our consultation.)

We’ll always mention our Comfort Club, of course! Multiple Daflure case studies over the decades have shown that regular maintenance will help protect your investment. Many of the systems enrolled in our Comfort Club are 15 to 20 years old. (Most need replacing in the 13-15 year window, so this is a definite perk for our Comfort Club Members!) Reviewing Your Proposal

Sometimes, we can provide your proposal during the appointment. Other times, we may need to gather a bit more information before finalizing your options.

Once everything is ready, you’ll receive a detailed proposal via email outlining your choices. After reviewing the options and making your selection, you can sign the agreement electronically.

From there, our office team will contact you to schedule your installation and collect the required down payment.

Installation Day

When installation day arrives, our technicians will remove your old equipment and install your new system. Our HVAC technicians will ensure that everything is installed expertly.

One of the most important parts of the process is making sure you understand your new system. Before we leave, we’ll walk you through the controls, explain how everything works, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable operating your new equipment. We love to educate our customers, and we take the time needed to cover everything.

Follow-Up and Quality Checks

Directly after installation, our office will follow up with any warranty information and paperwork. You are always welcome to ask any additional questions during this time.

Then, about 30 to 60 days later, we’ll visit you again for a post-installation inspection.

Not every HVAC company in Central PA offers this.

During that visit, one of our service technicians will carefully inspect the system, checking everything from wiring and performance readings to airflow and overall operation. If anything needs to be adjusted or balanced, we’ll take care of it.

We’ll also go over your system again and answer any new questions that may have come up since installation day.

After Installation & Follow-Up

Once your new system is up and running, our hope is that we’ll continue to see you through regular maintenance visits with the Comfort Club.

But most importantly, we want every homeowner to feel confident in their decision, comfortable in their home, and supported long after installation day is over.

If you ever have any questions at all, our technicians, our Comfort Specialists, and our home office is always happy to help. Reach out to us any time!
