15 Years at Daflure: Jaime’s Story
Long before Jaime worked at Daflure, he knew the name.
He had already spent over a decade working in HVAC, and Daflure had always stood out to him. He knew the company had a good reputation. He knew someone who worked there and spoke highly of it. And there was something about the way first-generation owner David McClure ran the company that made Jaime think it might be a place worth joining.
“They were just a different company.” Jaime said. “They had a really good reputation, and I had always heard good things about them.”
Fifteen years later, Jaime is still here.
He started as a service technician, doing the work he already knew and loved. Over time, though, his role began to grow. He became the person newer technicians called when they needed help in the field. He trained new team members and offered technical support. Eventually, he became a Field Service Supervisor and balanced his own service calls with helping the people around him.
Today, he leads the department.
“I really love the guys,” Jaime said. “I enjoy leading them, helping them, and working through problems with them. They are truly a great group of people.”
With 26 years of hands-on HVAC experience, Jaime has a lot of knowledge to share. He is lucky to get to do that with both his team and his customers. These long-term relationships are still one of his favorite parts of the job.
For Jaime, though, there is another relationship that has made a lasting difference in his career: the one he has with Daflure’s second-generation owner, Justin McClure.
“I definitely enjoy what I’m doing, and I absolutely love working for Justin," Jaime said. "I don’t know if I would have been doing this for as long as I have if not for the leadership here.”
Fifteen years ago, Jaime came to Daflure because he had heard it was a company filled with good people led by people who cared.
Today, Jaime is one of those people.
